Triumphing Over Technical Difficulties + The Endless Deep Updates
Hello!
I’m writing this on my phone, with my two nimble thumbs, which is not my favorite way to write but totally worth it to get the message out.
My computer, a very old laptop, is rather near to death. The poor thing may actually already be dead, and just not know it yet. Not super conducive to an artist’s creative flow, lemme just tell ya that right now.
A solution was found: I’ve ordered a new computer. Meanwhile, I have an even older spare laptop (like ten years old) that I trust slightly more to use in the meantime. It can’t connect to the internet, and if I bump it wrong the power cord falls out, but life is full of adventures and it’s gonna be fine. I have a whole roll of duct tape right here.
By early next week, if all goes well, I’ll have a modest refurbished computer that actually works. #donegotblessed
Meanwhile, the creativity is ramping up again here. I’m hard at work on The Endless Deep, despite the technology issues I’m getting to experience right now.
To get myself back into the story flow, I’m doing a speed edit from the beginning. That started today, and will go for the next two days. When that’s done, I’ll format and deliver the story so far, with my updates, bundled as a single download to all paid subscribers.
Then I should be able to return to a more consistent publishing schedule.
Oh, and I’ve committed to drawing a map for Ràth Tollen, a city in The Endless Deep. I can’t show it yet, because it’s still getting worked out, but this book needs one and it’s getting one. I’ll show yall when it’s ready.
Blessings!
